U18 Boys Black Head Coach

Anthony Anzevui has been announced as the head coach for SoccerViza Football Club's U18 Boys Black.

“Last year, I coached the U18’s and plenty of them are currently playing in college,” said coach Anzevui. “My biggest goal is creating an environment for players to get ready for college football and if they’re not playing college, I want to put players in the best position to excel throughout their U18 experience.”

Anthony Anzevui began his career playing for youth academies Sunderland A.F.C and York

City F.C in England. He went on to play collegiate soccer at Sacred Heart University. Anzevui was a three-time NEC All-Conference defender. He helped SHU to several impressive seasons, including the biggest single-season turnaround in conference history, leading the Pioneers to the playoffs for the first time ever in Division I (2005).

Anzevui graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at Sacred Heart University (2009) and later added a Masters in Corporate Communications and Public Relations (2014). Anzevui played professionally for five years, beginning his career with the Western Massachusetts Pioneers in the USL (2009). He then attended a pre-season training camp with F.C. Sion in the Swiss Super League before signing with F.C. Martigny in the Swiss 1 Liga (2011-2013).

He is licensed by the United States Soccer Federation, 'USSF C License' and the Football Association.
