Nate Kish is set to represent D.C United and Loudoun United at SoccerViza’s Pro Scouting Tour in Los Angeles, Calif.
Kish began his football career working as director of coaching at the high school level for Alliance Cincinnati Elite. He then continued as a regional scout for the USL/PDL and eventually became an assistant coach at some of the top universities -- Wake Forest, Ohio State and Catholic University. Kish was also once a head coach at Emory and Henry College.
Recently a scout for FC Cincinnati, Kish is currently involved with D.C United’s U23 team, where he has helped top players transition into the team's USL affiliate, Loudon United.
“A top player is consistent, and they always show the best version of themselves,” said Kish. “This is an event where there are a number of professional scouts so the more players can show, you never know who’s interested or who you might be the right fit for.”
Kish said he’s looking forward towards reconnecting with SoccerViza. The former college coach has attended a combine before, and he said it went well.
“Joe and I helped a player get signed last time I attended an event,” said Kish. “SoccerViza is a unique company and Joe and I think very similar when it comes to the game of soccer. I'm excited for this combine because it’s happening in a window where a lot of teams are looking for top talent and I'm interested in seeing what players want to break into the professional game.”
